How credits work
Every AI generation in Bandicam AI Studio — videos, images, audio, effects and tools — is paid for with credits. You see the cost before you start, and credits for a failed generation are returned automatically.
Types of credits

All of them add up to one balance, which is shared by bandicam.ai, the AI features in the Bandicam app, and AI assistants you connect through MCP.
How much a generation costs
Each model and tool has its own price. The cost depends on what you ask for — for example the length and resolution of a video, the number of images, or the length of an audio file. The credit cost is shown before you press Generate and updates as you change settings.
When credits are charged
- You start a generation. The credits are set aside from your balance right away.
- The result finishes. The set-aside credits are used. Nothing extra is charged.
- The generation fails. If it fails with an error or is blocked by the content safety filter, the credits go back to your balance automatically.
A result that finishes but isn’t what you hoped for is not refunded, because the AI still did the work. Try a different prompt or model instead.
Which credits are used first
Bonus credits are used first, then subscription credits, then purchased credits. Within each type, the credits that expire soonest are used first. Expired credits are removed and can’t be used.
Checking your balance and history
Your balance is shown at the top of every AI Studio page. Click it, or open bandicam.ai/credits, to see:
- How many subscription and bonus/purchased credits you have, and when they expire
- Credit Usage History — every charge, refund, grant and expiry, with your remaining balance after each

Frequently asked questions
Does a Bandicam license include AI credits?
No. A Bandicam or Bandicut license doesn’t include AI Studio credits.
Can I transfer credits to another account?
No. Credits can’t be transferred, shared between accounts, resold or exchanged for cash.
What happens to my credits if I cancel my plan?
You can keep using your subscription credits until the end of the period you paid for; after that they expire. Purchased and bonus credits are not affected.
