Email and Account Information
We collect your email address when you interact with our Sites, Software, or Services, such as purchasing or managing a license, using My Bandicam Space, submitting inquiries by email or via the AI chatbot, registering for our forum, or participating in surveys or feedback forms.
We use your email address to provide and administer the Services: to respond to your requests and provide support, verify identity and manage accounts, authenticate and manage licenses, send transactional or service-related notices (such as receipts, license information, security or administrative messages, critical bug notices, or important updates/releases), and help prevent abuse.
Where required by law, we may also use your email address to send optional customer research or marketing communications, such as satisfaction surveys, product feedback requests, or review invitations. You can opt out of these non-transactional emails at any time via the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting our support team. Even if you opt out, we may still send transactional or service-related emails. We retain email addresses and license-management information only as long as necessary to provide the Services and to comply with legal obligations.
If you choose to sign in through Google, Apple, Microsoft, or another sign-in provider, we may receive information permitted by your settings and authorization, such as your email address, name, profile image, and provider-specific account identifier.
Purchases, Subscriptions, and Credits
When you purchase or use a product, subscription, or credit-based feature, we may process information needed to complete and administer the transaction, such as your account identifier, email address, product or plan, subscription status, credit type and balance, credit purchase and usage records, and payment or refund status. We do not directly process or store full payment card numbers. Payment instrument details are collected and processed by qualified payment service providers, such as Stripe, subject to their own privacy practices and legal obligations.
Online Services and AI Features
We may provide AI features that process selected materials locally on your device using models stored or executed on your device ("On Device AI"), as well as online services or features linked to online services, including AI chatbot, transcription, subtitle generation, translation, editing support, background processing, video upload, customer inquiry processing, and other features provided online or through external service integration.
When you use a cloud-based or online-processing feature, and only when you execute such a feature or transmit materials, we may collect and process the information you select, input, upload, or generate, such as audio, video, images, text, subtitle or transcript text, prompts, inquiry content, processing settings, related metadata, timestamps, technical information such as browser type and approximate location derived from IP, and processing results. We use this information to provide the requested feature, secure and improve the Service, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, conduct quality control, and improve user support. On Device AI processes selected materials locally and does not transmit those materials to us or external AI processing providers solely for that processing, unless you separately choose a feature requiring online transmission.
Some online services, including Bandicam AI Studio, may be provided through servers operated by the Company or by external service providers designated or notified by the Company. Please do not submit sensitive personal information through online services or AI features, such as full payment card numbers, passwords or recovery codes, government identification numbers, health information, or information about children.
Outputs generated or processed by AI features or the AI chatbot may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, out of date, or unsuitable for your intended purpose. They do not constitute professional advice or contractual commitments on behalf of the Company. For important matters involving licenses, billing, refunds, or technical support, please contact our official support team directly.
We retain online-service inputs, processing results, and related logs only as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet legal obligations, maintain security, troubleshoot, prevent abuse, and improve support, and then delete or de-identify them in accordance with our retention practices. Unless you separately and expressly opt in, we do not use, or permit our service providers to use, information that you input, upload, generate, or receive through online services or AI features, including inputs and outputs, to train, retrain, fine-tune, or otherwise develop or improve any AI model. If we introduce an optional AI model training program, we will provide clear prior notice and obtain your separate affirmative consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and withdrawal will apply to future use of your content. This does not prevent us from using de-identified, aggregated, statistical, security, usage, or diagnostic data that does not reasonably identify you or reveal the substance of your content to operate, protect, measure, troubleshoot, and improve the Services.
Usage Analytics and Error Reports
If you choose to participate in service improvement through the Software installation screen or settings, we may collect usage statistics and error-report data in a form that does not directly identify you, such as Software version, operating system and device environment, feature usage information, error logs, performance information, and diagnostic information. We use this information to improve product quality and features, investigate failures, analyze usage, and maintain service security. You may withdraw your consent to service improvement participation at any time in the Software settings, after which new optional transmissions will stop.
Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the context and applicable law, we process personal information as necessary to perform a contract with you or provide a Service you request, with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, or for legitimate interests such as securing and improving the Services, preventing fraud and abuse, troubleshooting, and providing customer support. Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time, without affecting processing that occurred before withdrawal.
Cookies
We and our service providers may use session or persistent cookies and similar technologies to operate the Sites, keep you signed in, remember preferences, maintain security, and understand how the Sites are used, including through Google Analytics. Bandicam AI Studio and our other AI Services are available only to users who are at least 13 years old and meet any higher minimum age required by applicable law in their country or region. Users who are under the age of legal majority in their jurisdiction may use the AI Services only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian, as described in the
AI Services, Subscriptions, and Credits Terms. We do not knowingly collect personal information through the AI Services from anyone below the applicable minimum age. If we learn that we have done so, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Third-party Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites for your convenience and information. We do not control those websites or make any representations or warranties about their use or the third-party policies that govern such use. Any personal information that is obtained by third parties is not covered by this privacy policy. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party websites.
Third-party Apps and External Services
The Software may use YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo, and other platform APIs to provide video uploading features or other external service integration features.
If you use these features, you may need to authorize Bandicam as a third-party app with the relevant external service account. Your use of those services is subject to the terms of use and privacy policies of the relevant third-party providers, such as:

We may disclose or transfer information to service providers that process information on our behalf for purposes such as payment processing, license management, customer support, online services, AI features, analytics, crash diagnostics, security, abuse prevention, external service integration, or hosting. These providers may include external service providers designated or notified by the Company where needed to provide online services or AI features.
Depending on the Service or feature you use, our service providers may include Features & Labels Inc. (fal), Replicate, LLC, Google LLC, Amazon Web Services, Inc., Cloudflare, Inc., Stripe, LLC, BytePlus Pte. Ltd., and AssemblyAI Inc. Google may support account authentication, cloud infrastructure, analytics, and AI processing; AWS may provide service infrastructure; Cloudflare may store and deliver uploaded materials and processing results; Stripe may process payments, subscriptions, and refunds; and the listed AI service providers may process content as needed to provide the AI feature you request.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We also do not rent personal information to service providers for their own marketing purposes. We require service providers to process personal information only as permitted by our agreements and applicable law.
We may also disclose personal information as part of a reorganization, merger, sale, or transfer of assets of Bandicam Company LLC, provided that appropriate steps are taken to protect your privacy rights.
International Processing
Bandicam Company LLC is based in the United States. Personal information may be processed in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate.
