How to Use Smart Zoom on Windows

Bandicam 2027 lets you automatically zoom in and out on key areas of your recordings using the Smart Zoom feature. To use this feature, download and install Bandicam 2027 Beta.

Steps to Automatically Zoom In and Out

To automatically zoom in and out and save your video, follow these steps:

Note: This feature is exclusive to videos recorded in Rectangle area or Fullscreen mode.

Step 1. Start recording in Rectangle area or Fullscreen mode.

Step 2. When you stop recording, the Bandicam built-in player will open automatically.

To open the Bandicam built-in player manually, go to the Videos tab, select a file, and click Play.

Step 3. Click Edit in the Bandicam built-in player.

Step 4. Turn on Smart Zoom.

Smart Zoom shows a black cursor and automatically zooms in and out based on your mouse clicks and movements.

Step 5. Click Export to save your video.

If needed, drag the sliders to select the section you want to keep. Then click Export to save the video.

• Your video will be saved as an MP4 file.
• HW (Hardware Acceleration) is enabled by default for fast video processing, but you can disable it if needed.

Step 6. Review the output video.

Play the output file to check it. If needed, use the following options:

• Edit: Adjust the video again or make further edits.
• Transcribe: Transcribe the video to text.
• Upload: Upload the video to YouTube, Google Drive, or Vimeo.

In the Videos tab, you can open the output folder or view the video files. The original file is kept, and a new video with Smart Zoom applied has _exported added to its name.
