Bandicam Hotkeys


1. Bandicam General Hotkeys

  • Bandicam General tab -> Advanced -> Hotkeys -> You can check your shortcut key settings, as well as change them to other shortcut keys.
  • If you press the R button, the settings will be reset.

    • Bandicam hotkeys

    * General

    • Start/Stop Recording : F12
    • Pause Recording : Shift+F12
    • Capture Image : F11
    • Mute Speakers : Ctrl+Alt+S
    • Mute Microphone : Ctrl+Alt+M

    * Screen Recording mode

    • Show/Hide Rectangle : Ctrl+Alt+H
    • Drawing mode : Ctrl+Alt+D
    • Select target area : Ctrl+Shift+F
    • Maximize webcam preview : Shift+Tab

    * Game Recording mode

    • FPS Show/Hide : F9
    • FPS Position : Shift+F9
    • FPS Limit : F10

  • You can change the Record/Stop and Pause hotkeys in the Bandicam [Video] tab.

2. Shortcut keys for Rectangle window

You can use shortcut keys to adjust a rectangle window (screen recording window).

* Adjust Rectangle window position

  • Move left : ←
  • Move right : →
  • Move up : ↑
  • Move down : ↓

* Adjust Rectangle window size

  • Increase width : Shift+→
  • Decrease width : Shift+←
  • Increase height : Shift+↓
  • Decrease height : Shift+↑

* Select recording area size

  • Select a recording area : Ctrl+F
  • Fullscreen : Ctrl+Enter
  • Size Preset : Shift+Mouse Right-Click
  • Recently used size : Ctrl+S
  • Custom size : Ctrl+U
  • 320*240 (4:3) Ctrl+1
  • 480*268 (16:9) Ctrl+2
  • 480*360 (4:3) Ctrl+3
  • 640*360 (16:9) Ctrl+4
  • 640*480 (4:3) Ctrl+5

3. Additional Shortcut keys for Rectangle window

By pressing the Shift key and right-clicking on the screen recording window, you can add the current recording window size and position to the preset.

4. Drawing tool Shortcuts

  • Ctrl + Alt + D : Show/Hide the Drawing tool
  • Ctrl + Alt + 1 : Cursor mode
  • Ctrl + Alt + 2 : Pen
  • Ctrl + Alt + 3 : Highlighter
  • Ctrl + Alt + 4 : Line
  • Ctrl + Alt + 5 : Arrow
  • Ctrl + Alt + 6 : Box
  • Ctrl + Alt + 7 : Numbering
  • Ctrl + Alt + 8 : Text
  • Ctrl + Alt + 9 : Eraser
  • Ctrl + Z : Undo
  • Ctrl + Y : Redo
  • Shift + Line/Arrow/Box : When you draw a line while holding the "Shift" key, you get a straight line.
  • Delete : Remove all of the drawing at once.
  • ESC : Remove the drawing and exit the drawing mode.

5. Other additional shortcuts

- Webcam Overlay hotkey

The "Enable preview toggle hotkey" is used when you want to turn on/off the webcam screen while recording. The default shortcut key is Tab, but you can change it to another shortcut key. » How to use the Webcam overlay

- Secondary Sound Device

When using Bandicam's advanced feature, Secondary Sound Device, the default shortcut key for recording/muting the additional audio device is Space, but you can change it to another shortcut key. » How to use the Secondary Sound Device

- Rename/Delete/Select All Files

You can select a file in Bandicam and rename it: F2 , delete the file: Del , or select all: Ctrl+A.
