Bandicam crashed/froze when I start recording.

If Bandicam crashes when you click 'Record (REC)', please try resetting Bandicam settings, selecting the H264 (CPU) video codec, and unchecking the 'Record sound' option in the recording settings window.

I don't know how to use Bandicam. It's difficult to use.

Q: Failed to start Bandicam?

If Bandicam does not start, please check if there is a Bandicam icon in the system tray, click on bdcam_safemode in the Bandicam installation folder, and reinstall your graphics card driver. If it still does not run, please check your security programs.

Q: Couldn't record sound/voice?

Bandicam is a video recording program designed to record both computer sound and microphone sound. Please select your speaker and microphone devices in Bandicam's sound settings, and if it still doesn't work, refer to the help page for recording computer sound and microphone sound.

Q: Not satisfied with the performance or the video/audio quality?

If your video is choppy, try lowering the resolution and using a hardware-accelerated codec. If the video quality looks strange, try unchecking the 'Use enhanced capture method' option. If the video appears black, try turning off graphics acceleration in your web browser before recording.

If you see the "bdcam.exe has stopped working" or "Failed to initialize codec" error message, please try the solutions below:

Download the latest version of Bandicam, choose the "XVID or H264 (CPU) video codec," and try again.
Uninstall graphics card driver completely, reinstall the latest graphics card driver, and try again.
Uninstall copy-protection programs or end suspicious programs from Task Manager of Windows, and try again.
Uncheck the 'Record sound, Add webcam overlay to video, Use enhanced capture method' option.
