How to record the Battlefield series

Battlefield is a first-person shooter video game that focuses on large online multiplayer battles. It was developed by EA DICE, a Swedish company, and published by Electronic Arts, an American company. The Battlefield series primarily focuses on vehicle warfare, including teamwork and large maps, and supports Windows, OS X, Android, iOS, PlayStation, and Xbox.

The original Battlefield 1942 is set in World War 2 and uses the Refractor game engine. As of 2012, over 50 million players around the world have played the game since its release in September 2002. In 2021, Battlefield 2042 was released using the Frostbite game engine for Windows, PS4, PS5, XONE, and XSX/S.

To record Battlefield on a PC, please follow the steps below:

  1. Download the game recorder, Bandicam, and start.

  2. Choose the 'Game Recording Mode' to record WOW gameplay.

    It's better to use the 'Game Recording Mode' to get a high quality video file.

  3. Start the Battlefield game.

    Note: For a stable operation, Bandicam needs to be running before starting the Battlefield game.

    • While running a game in the 'Game Recording Mode,' you can see the green FPS number on the screen.
    • You can control the FPS (frames per second) under the 'FPS' tab of Bandicam. If you can't see the green FPS number, visit No FPS on the recording target.

  4. Press the 'F12' function key (or the 'Record' button in Bandicam) to start recording.

  5. During the recording, the green FPS number will change to red.

  6. To stop recording, press the 'F12' function key (or the 'Record' button in Bandicam) again.

  7. Click on the video icon to play, edit, or upload the captured videos.

The Battlefield Game Recording FAQs

1. If you can't see the green FPS number,

1) Uncheck the "Windows Apps (UWP)view" in Bandicam,

2) Uncheck the "In-game overlay" option in EA settings.
