When using Discord while playing games

If you have one speaker device (or headset), you can record Discord sound while playing a game. If you have more than two speaker devices (or headsets), you can also prevent your voice, your friend's voice, or game sound from being recorded. After setting the sound as shown in the tutorials below, try recording the game in either game recording mode or screen recording mode.



Case 1) To record gameplay and all Discord voices together

Discord recording

  • Select "Speaker (Speaker A) and Microphone" in Bandicam.
  • In Discord voice settings, select your microphone and "Speaker (Speaker A)" same from Bandicam.
  • Check "Do nothing" under the [Communications] tab in Windows settings.
  • After setting the sound as explained above, please select either the game recording mode or screen recording mode to record gameplay.

Case 2) To record gameplay only (without recording Discord audio)

Discord recording

  • Select "Speaker (Speaker A)" and "Disable" as Microphone in Bandicam.
  • In Discord voice settings, select your microphone and "Speaker (Speaker B)" different from Bandicam.
  • Check "Do nothing" under the [Communications] tab in Windows settings.
  • After setting the sound as explained above, please select either the game recording mode or screen recording mode to record gameplay.

Case 3) To record gameplay + My voice (without recording my friend's voice)

Discord recording

  • Select "Speaker (Speaker A) and Microphone" in Bandicam.
  • In Discord voice settings, select your microphone and "Speaker (Speaker B)" different from Bandicam.
  • Check "Do nothing" under the [Communications] tab in Windows settings.
  • After setting the sound as explained above, please select either the game recording mode or screen recording mode to record gameplay.
