With Bandicam installed on your computer, you are ready to begin. You may want to prepare a script and rehearse the steps you will take on the screencast. Now is the time to do that.
The preparation also involves getting ready your lecture materials like PowerPoint slides and PDFs ready. If you want to capture your face and overlay it on a corner of the screen, then set up your webcam.
Launch Bandicam to begin recording the screencast. First, you want to configure your camera and microphone input; so do this by clicking the “Video” option on the left panel and selecting “Settings.”
In the Recording settings window, navigate to the "Webcam" tab by clicking it on the menu. Next, check the "Use Chroma key" and "Preview webcam on-screen" checkboxes.
To enable useful features such as mouse cursor display, mouse click effects, and mouse highlight effects, etc., navigate to the “Mouse” tab.
On the Mouse tab of Recording settings, check the "Show mouse cursor," "Add mouse click effect," and "Add mouse highlight effect" checkboxes. Optionally, you may also want to uncheck the "Left click" and "Right-click" options on the page.
