How to Trim Audio on Your Mac

Bandicam includes a built-in audio trimmer, making it easy to trim audio recordings and remove unwanted parts without using a separate Mac audio editor.

With Bandicam Pro, you can precisely trim audio recordings on your Mac and save only the parts you need. Follow the steps below to trim your recordings easily.

Step 1. Select Audio Recording mode, enable system audio or microphone input, and start recording.

Step 2. The Output Audio List will automatically appear after recording stops.

You can also click the 'Output Audio List' icon in the main window to view and trim your recordings.

Step 3. Click the 'Trim Audio' button to open the trimming interface.

Step 4. Select the section you want to keep.

Drag the sliders to select the desired recording segment; unselected portions will be removed.

Step 5. Click 'Trim' to apply your changes, and then click 'Save'.

Click 'Trim' to keep only the selected section. Then, set the file name, add tags, choose the output folder, and click 'Save'.

Step 6. Review the trimmed audio file.

Click the Transcript tab to convert the audio to text. You can also play it, open it in Finder, delete or share it, and create a shareable link via Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.
