Bandicam for Mac User Interface

Welcome to Bandicam! The main window gives you quick access to all essential recording features. Here’s a breakdown of what each section does.

Bandicam Main User Interface

Recording Controls

• Recording Modes: Select a recording option: Selected Area, Full screen, Window, Webcam, or Audio.

Quick Settings & Effects

• Quick Access Tools: Instantly enable or disable features such as the mouse cursor, webcam overlay, audio, and annotation tools, or use the recording area selection.

Configuration & File Access

• Output Folder: Access the output video list and output folder.
• Video Max Resolution: Quickly set the maximum resolution and FPS (Frames Per Second) for your output video.
• Settings: Configure advanced options for video, overlays, hotkeys, and more.

Output video list window

This window appears automatically once recording is complete, or by clicking the output video list icon.

• Outputs and Transcript Tabs: Switch between the recorded video list and the transcript panel.
• Recorded Video List: View and select your recorded videos.
• Video Context Menu: Right-click a video to trim, transcribe, extract audio, open in Finder, rename, or delete the file.
• Video Management
  • Open in Finder: Instantly open the file's location in Finder.
  • Delete selected video: Permanently remove the selected video from the list and your storage.
  • Send video via AirDrop: Share the selected video wirelessly with other AirDrop-enabled devices.
  • Share video: Open the macOS share menu to send your video via Mail, Messages, etc.
• Trim Video: Remove unwanted sections from the selected video.
• Get Share Link: Share videos via Google Drive, Dropbox, or OneDrive.
• Video Player Controls: Play, seek, adjust the volume, and control the selected video.

Transcript Tab

Selecting a video and clicking the Transcript tab will automatically generate the transcript.

• Search: Use the search box to find specific words or phrases in the transcript.
• Refresh: After changing the AI model or language, click the refresh button to regenerate the transcript.
• Select AI Model: Click this icon to switch between AI models (Tiny, Base, Small, Medium, or Large Turbo).
• Select Language: Click the language icon to manually choose the transcription language.
• Captions: Click the CC button to toggle subtitles. Bandicam Pro lets you view full subtitles during playback.
