How to Trim a Video on Your Mac

With Bandicam Pro, you can precisely trim videos on your Mac and save only the parts you need. Follow the steps below to trim your screen recordings easily.


Step 1. Initiate recording using the chosen option: Selected Area, Full screen, Window, or Webcam.

Step 2. The video output list will automatically appear after the screen recording stops.

You can also click the "Output Video List" icon in the main window to view and trim your recordings.

Step 3. Click the “Trim Video” button to open the trimming interface.

Step 4. Select the section you want to keep.

Drag sliders to select the desired recording segment; unselected portions will be deleted.

Step 5. Click "Trim" to apply your changes, and then click "Save".

Click "Trim" to keep only the selected section. Then, set the file name, add tags, choose the output folder, and click "Save."

Step 6. Review the trimmed video file.

You can play the video, open it in Finder, delete it, send it via AirDrop, or share it using the macOS menu.
