Bandicam settings - Overlay

Enhance your videos by adding a mouse cursor or a webcam feed to your screen recordings.

Overlay Settings

  • Mouse Effect » Mouse overlay
    • Add a cursor to the output video: Check this option to include your mouse cursor in the final recording.
    • Mouse pointer: You can switch between Draw cursor and Draw dot.
    • Highlight effect: Adds a glow around the pointer.
    • Click effect: Shows a visual cue when clicking.

    Note: Window recording mode only supports Draw cursor; Highlight and Click effects are not applied.

  • Show webcam video on the screen: Enable this option to add a real-time webcam overlay (Picture-in-Picture) to your screen recording. Once enabled, select your webcam device from the dropdown menu. » Webcam overlay
  • Mirror/Flip vertically
    • Mirror: Horizontally flip your webcam feed.
    • Flip vertically: Turn your webcam video upside down.
