HDMI-recording stopped

Hello,
I am recording an HDMI signal with Bandicam. During the recording, Bandicam reports: Recording stopped because the Audio device is no longer available.

I am using USB3 Digital Audio.
What could be the reason for this?

Thank you for your response.

Could you please change the settings as follows and try recording again?

1. Select “(Default Input Device)” for the Microphone under Primary Sound Device.
2. Select “Disable (Recommended)” for the Secondary Sound Device.

Please let us know the results once you have tested it.

Thank you very much for your quick reply! But especially for your good advice: that has completely solved my problem with the Bandicam stopping!
Previously, I could record for a maximum of 10 minutes; now, several hours, and still working!

Hello,

As I mentioned, I was able to record for a couple of hours, successfully! After that, I turned off the laptop for an hour. Then I started Bandicam again.

I am sorry, but after an hour I got the error message again: "Recording has stopped because the audio device is no longer available".
Moreover, Bandicam was completely frozen; I couldn't even close it anymore.

Attached is a screenshot of the audio devices. In English:

- Microphone Array
Ready
- Microphone
Not connected
- Stereo Mix
Ready
- Digital audio interface
Default device

What now?

Sorry, I'm a little confused: my Windows 11 and my Bandicam are both in Dutch.
Do you mean a screenshot from a Windows settingsscreen or from a Bandicam settingsscreen?

This afternoon I received the message: "Recording device initialization failed".
Attached is a screenshot from the Device Selection screen where "USB3 Video" is selected on the time from that message.
I also attache a screenshot from the same screen where "OBS Virtual Camera" was selected. This setting also caused that last message.
OBS is still installed on my laptop, but not active.
What now?
