Feature request: import EDL files and create segment defintions based on its content

Via tools like "comskip" movie captures can be pre-analyzed for commercial/preview blocks within the video. This EDL output could then be imported to automatically create segments based on the content of that EDL file. Even when those regions are not 100% accurate, they allow to identify the exact positions of these blocks more quickly and thus allow to safe some time.
This "comskip" tool itself takes some time to identify the various regions but if run as background tool that acts upon file changes within a directory, such EDL files can be created over time. In my local tests with other cutting software they reduced my work effort from like 10-15 minutes for a full-feature length move to like 2-3 minutes.
Btw, I'd also love to see an option to define a custom time interval (not frame or b-frame based) to jump through videos. In my usual workflow I rely heavily on the following keybinds already: "s" and "e" to mark the start and end of a segment, left and right arrow keys to page through the video on a frame-by-frame basis, ctrl+left or right arrow to navigate through the videos on the defined b-frame in the video or (ctrl) + alt + left or right arrow key to jump +5/(10)s back and forth. I usually set this to 2 seconds and last but not least Ctrl + N to create new segments. In addition to that I'd love to define keybinds that allow me to jump like 5 or 10 minutes back and forth to quickly jump through a video without having to use the mouse directly.
