I bought Bandicam last night after seeing that it was a simple and straightforward software for both screen and capture card. I tried using it a bit last night with my capture card, and it worked fine.
I changed my audio settings in an attempt to get the mic recording to save separately, but while I got a WAV file of the microphone audio it was still simultaneously recorded on the gameplay as well. I shut off the PC for the night waiting for an email from Bandicam about the proper audio settings to do that.
I only had to change exactly one setting from on to off this morning, but it only seemed to record my microphone. I thought it had just been that setting, but I reverted that and it still didn't record capture card audio. I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the program, and it hasn't fixed the issue. The program DOES show the audio being picked up and I can hear that audio on my headphones or speakers, but for some reason the program refuses to record that audio.
What exactly is going on? Does anyone have any idea what I can do to fix this?
