Bandicam freezes recording when I switch my HDMI

I have a 3 into 1 HDMI switch to use one screen for three computers.
I am using Bandicam to record from a USB Webcam for home security.
If Bandicam is recording when I switch away and come back the recording has frozen.
If I click stop recording and restart it will run ok until I switch again.
I have confirmed in file size and duration that Bandicam has actually stopped.
Any ideas ?

Hello ColinB,

If you switch the HDMI connection, the recording target's screen is lost, and the recording ends.
To avoid this, make sure to keep the screen displayed throughout the recording.

I am wanting to use Bandicam to monitor a security camera. On that basis Bandicam is not suitable for purpose.
What is the process for cancelling my license ?
