using mp4 on whatsapp web

I used to drag&drop the screen captures from bandicom directly to my whatsapp web (on chrome) and send it as is.
since some time now, i'm getting error of "file not supported". only if i use a third party app to save the movie gain as mp4 - i'm able to send it on my whatsapp app.
what happened? anyone else has this problem?

We could reproduce the issue you reported.
Please refer to the "Frequently Asked Questions" section on the following page and use Bandicut ( https://www.bandicam.com/bandicut-video-cutter/ ) to share your video via Whatsapp.

Import the video file on Bandicut -> click on the Start button, and select Encoding mode and settings -> change the FPS value to "30" -> click on the Start button.
