H265 codec

Greetings,

Is it possible to add the H265 codec to BandiCam? I have made 100GB of screen recordings & am now reEncoding these files from H264 to H265 and it is saving me a ton of space w very close quality. I am reducing the file size by 50-80%.

I'd prefer to start encoding with H265 right away so I don't have to duplicate my efforts.

Hello,

You can choose hevc(h265) codec in Bandicam format settings.

Go to the [Video] tab -> click on Settings button -> select MP4 file type and choose the hevc codec.

Hello,

HEVC and H.265 are the same. If you'd like to use the H.265 codec, please select HEVC (AMD VCE/VCN).
