Saving Online Videos for Later Editing and YouTube Uploads

Hi everyone,

I’m interested in how other Bandicam users organize videos that they find
online and may want to use later for editing or personal reference.

For example, sometimes I come across a publicly available Facebook video
that I want to keep for later reference before working on a video project.
For that type of situation, I’ve come across fdown.media, which is a
browser-based option for saving publicly available Facebook videos.

After obtaining a video where downloading is permitted, I would normally
bring it into my editing workflow and then use Bandicam for additional
screen recordings when needed.

I’m curious about how other users handle this kind of workflow.

Do you normally:

- record the material directly with Bandicam;
- save the original video when the website permits downloading;
- edit the material before uploading it to YouTube; or
- keep the original file unchanged and create a separate edited copy?

I’d also be interested in hearing what settings you normally use for
YouTube uploads, particularly resolution, frame rate and file format.

Thanks!
