Registered Bandicut 2025 doesn't cut MKV

I'm trying to cut the first 5 seconds off a 36-minute video (MKV H264 single audio track) using High-Speed Mode, but Bandicut—which is fully updated and has been registered for a while—refuses to remove that initial 5-second segment. The resulting file still contains that part of the video. Any idea what might be going on?

Re: Registered Bandicut 2025 doesn't cut MKV

Hello,

Since High-Speed mode cuts the video based on Keyframes, this issue can happen if the original file's keyframe structure is unstable or corrupt.

Please try the following solutions:

1. Re-convert the file: Save the original video once using High-Speed mode without cutting it. Then, reopen the newly created file in Bandicut and try cutting it again.

2. Use Encoding mode: If High-Speed Mode still doesn't work, switch to Encoding mode. This will re-encode the video and cut it precisely down to the exact frame.

If the issue persists, please send the video file (or a download link) to bandicut@bandicam.com so we can test it and assist you further.
