I've been using Bandicam for many many years and recorded hundreds and hundreds of videos, rarely ever had I had any problems with this program. Today unfortunately, I did. I recorded a gameplay video, the little red FPS indicator was showing the entire time as if it was recording properly, but when I finished the video and went to look up on it, the file said 0kb.. so in other words.. it hadn't recorded anything. Sadness ensued.. =(
Then I logged into the game again and hit record for just a minute to see what was up and see if the problem remained, but no, it recorded the video as usual with no issue.
But this incident has spooked me; Is my once reliable recording software not reliable any more? I need to find out what caused this so it wont happen again. Any ideas?
I have not done ANY changes to my computer recently, nor my game, microphone or Bandicam's settings or anything else. None. I record in the same folder I always record my videos in, no, I didn't run out of hard drive space. This just came out of nowhere. I have a pretty powerful computer and a 3090 TI card and record with H264 NVENC; which is the way I've always done it without any problems...
