Hey, I had the same probleme...
In Bandicut, subtitles should be kept automatically if they're embedded in the video file (like hardcoded subs). But if they're separate subtitle files (.srt, .ass, etc.) or soft subtitles in the container, you need to make sure they're selected.
When you cut your video, check the encoding settings before saving. There should be an option to include subtitle tracks. If you're using the "High-Speed mode" (no re-encoding), external subtitles won't be merged automatically, you'll need to keep the .srt file separately and rename it to match your cut video.
If you want subtitles permanently burned into the video, you'll need to use "Encoding mode" instead of "High-Speed mode" and enable subtitle rendering in the settings. Keep in mind this takes longer since it re-encodes the video.
Quick tip: if your subtitles are in a separate file, the easiest way is to just keep both files (video + .srt) with the same name in the same folder. Most players will load them automatically.
