Selecting a recording area, then moving it slightly

Hello- when recording a video, I am selecting an area, but want to move along with the action of the video. When I do this, little red lines show up on the edges of my recording. Is that just the way it is, or is there a setting I can use to eliminate the red border lines? I am recording in slow motion, if that makes any difference. Thank you.

Hello clr61,

If the "Use enhanced capture method" option is enabled, this issue may occur. Please disable the option and try again.

Hello- that problem cropped up again, and in the latest version, I don't have the enhanced capture method checked ??

Hello clr61,

We were not able to reproduce the issue with Bandicam 8.2.1.
Unchecking the "Use enhanced capture method" option resolved the issue in the latest version as well.
Could you please uninstall Bandicam, reinstall the latest version, and make sure that the "Use enhanced capture method" option is unchecked before trying to record again?

Thank you.

Hello- I uninstalled my version and then went to download the "2025 Bandicam" that is on your site. And yes, that enhanced output button was checked, so I unchecked it. Hopefully that problem won't crop up again....I'll keep you posted! Thanks.

Update, when I move areas of recording, I am getting border lines showing where my movements are going. Is there a reason for that?

Re: Selecting a recording area, then moving it slightly

Hello,

Thank you for your response.

We have not been able to reproduce the issue when the "Use enhanced capture method" option is unchecked, as long as the recording area is moved slowly.
We have confirmed that a slight red border may momentarily appear only when the recording area is moved very quickly during recording, and this behavior has been observed in both the latest and previous versions.

You mentioned that unchecking the "Use enhanced capture method" option resolved the issue back in February, so it should still be effective now. We're sorry, but we're not sure why the issue is occurring again at this time.

Could you please try updating your graphics driver and check again to see if the issue persists?

Thank you.

Re: Selecting a recording area, then moving it slightly

Hello,

Could you please describe the exact steps to reproduce the issue, as well as provide the following information?
1. Are you moving the recording area very quickly during recording?
2. What is the recording target (e.g., specific application, desktop, game, etc.)?
3. What is the size of the recording area?
4. Are you also changing the size of the recording area while recording?

Additionally, if you remember which version of Bandicam did not have this issue before, that information would be very helpful for our investigation.

Thank you.
