Cutting and merging produce still frames

Sat Dec 14, 2019 9:13 pm

Hello,

I wanted to delete several segments of a screen recording I made with Bandicam. I used the Cut function in Bandicut, I selected the segments I wanted to keep, then merged them together using the high speed mode.

The problem is that the resulting video file contains a lot of still frames (ranging from 1 to 5 seconds) at the beginning of each segment. The audio is fine with no interruptions. Any ideas what's going on?

I used Bandicut 3.5.0.592.

Update: exporting the movie in encoding mode works fine.
Only in the high-speed mode I get those still frames. :cry:

Update: the frozen frames appear in the Windows 10 default video player (the Movies &TV app).
In VLC the edited videos look fine, no still frames.

Hello,

Please check the "Always cut/merge by keyframe in High-speed mode" option and try again.

Thank you!

Unfotunatelly no. The frames are visible also in Sony Vegas Pro, the player does not matter, the outcoming file (after cutting) is broken - every one. Will the company react?

1. Please try the latest version of Bandicut.
=> Download: https://www.bandicam.com/bandicut/

2. Do you have problems when using in high speed mode? Please check the "Always cut/merge by keyframe in High-speed mode" option and try again.
