Option to retain/reapply original thumbnail for MP4 file

On some videos, a thumbnail image is already attached to the incoming MP4 file. After using Bandicut, the original thumbnail is replaced with a thumbnail image of the first frame of the video - presumably the default for a non-predefined thumbnail image.

I would like to have an option added to Bandicut to have the original incoming thumbnail image retained, and upon file generation, have the thumbnail image reapplied to the resulting Bandicut output MP4 file.

I don't know if this is platform specific, but for me, this request is for a Windows 10 environment.

Hi
  as an extension to the request for a thumbnail...
Is it possible to use the camera on the edit screen to select a frame that can then be the video thumbnail?
Click on the camera...Video Thumbnail?

To choose a frame from your video as a thumbnail: Click the "Play" button. When you get to the frame you'd like to save as the thumbnail, click "Thumb" on the bottom right of the screen. Click "Save" to save your changes. To upload an image for your thumbnail: Click "Upload Thumbnail" on the video edit page.

Thumbnails are especially helpful in a library with many media files, because they give viewers a preview of the Click Change thumbnail, and then choose one of the following options: ... If the image shows what you want, then click Save.
