Bandicut.log

Ever since the latest version of Bandicut (version 4.0.0.2509) was released, the program always produces a new file called Bandicut.log. It creates a new folder under the "Documents" folder entitled "Bandicut", and creates this new file there. In the Configuration box, under the "General" tab, I have the option to create a log file unchecked. But it creates this file anyway. In previous versions of Bandicut it never did that. Where does this file come from now? How can I prevent the program from producing it?
