I decided to try Bandicam as the demo version seemed to offer superior quality to what i was using HUGE MISTAKE on purchasing the full version my first days worth of video was rendered useless by the fairly hidden and default option of "variable frame rate" why on gods earth would you ever use variable frame rate? no edit program can cope with it there is absolutely no use in it at all and even if there is to have it as a default setting is ludicrous
BUT i accepted maybe i should have looked harder and examined the presets a little more . as i was editing in premiere i chose the motion jpeg and set about retrieving the ruined footage by re filming ( was computer game generated) after a 2 hour recording .i have no found it has no sound, i have also seen no difference in image quality over the xbox game bar i was using before and never had any issues at all so Bandicam is dumped, spat on, stamped on and metaphorically destroyed and i will go back to what works and was free
