Motion bluriness in Motion JPEG videos

Hello All!

I am having an issue where I am getting motion blur in my videos:

https://youtu.be/VMAhx1uZvQ4?t=5120

A slight example is a few seconds at that mark in that video.

I'm trying to figure out what is going on and hoping you folks can help me.

My settings are as follows on video:

AVI
Full Size
59.94 FPS
Motion JPEG
100 Quality

Audio
PCM codec
Stereo
4800

I have the recording priority set to high, enhanced capture method checked, skip recording while frame not updated checked.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Videos are recorded with MJPEG and rendered in Vegas Pro 17 post editing.

Thank you in advance!

Yes, I understand that. The blurriness that is occurring in the video I linked is an artifact of something that is happening during filming, and not present in the game that is being photographed (really fast)

Hello lucran@yahoo.com,

We've checked the YouTube video you uploaded.
Is the recorded video blurry before editing or after editing?
Does it happen every time you record the game?

We look forward to your reply.

Thank you.

I've gone back and checked the spots in the unedited footage, it appears that is IS only happening in the edited video, which means this is a vegas issue. I appreciate your feedback. If you have any ideas as to why an editor would do that I am all ears!
