Suggestion - mouse click files

Wed Mar 17, 2021 11:51 pm

Hello,

The setup should check if the *.wav files from the /data/ folder are not the default ones and not overwrite them.

I just updated to a new version and the files were overwritten.

Thanks.

Hello maxos,

We are sorry but we are not quite sure what you are asking.
Which version of Bandicam do you use?
Could you be more specific?
We look forward to your reply.

Thank you.

Hello,

1. I'm using the latest version.
2. I'm using custom *.wav files for mouse click sounds, files that I've put in the /data/ folder. I have overwritten the existing ones as per https://www.bandicam.com/how-to/mouse-effects/
"You can add mouse click sounds when clicking the left/right mouse.
If you want to change mouse click sounds, replace the "lclick.wav" and "rclick.wav" files in the data folder of Bandicam (C:\Program Files (x86)\Bandicam\data) with another .wav file."

3. A new version is released.
4. I'm downloading the setup and installing the new version.
5. My custom *.wav files are overwritten and I have to repeat step 2.

Thanks.

Hello maxos,

Thank you for your reply.
We understood what you mean now.
When you update/reinstall Bandicam, the WAV file will be overwritten as you mentioned.

We've forwarded your suggestion to our development team.

Thank you.
