24 bit audio just won't happen

Tue Dec 15, 2020 4:08 pm

Hi Bandicam and all,

I have run into a peculiar issue when recording with Bandicam. When I select the AVI format (why haven't Bandicam been updated in this regard. MKV is a much better format??) and then put PCM audio and set "save as original format" I constantly get 16 bit, at whatever sample rate I set my Focusrite to (not 24 bit, which what I was expecting).
If I, on the other hand, use the "Save audio tracks while recording (.wav)" option, I get 32 bit audio at whatever sample rate I set my Focusrite to.

My Focusrite is set to 96 kHz @ 24 bit in the Windows setup. For some weird reason, Bandicam just won't let me have my 24 bit audio.

Would it be possible to add a selection box somewhere, so that we me tell Bandican what bit rate we wish to have?

Sincerly,
MIchael Hansen

I suppose that it didn't happen then, since it is 2020 now and that post was from 2017.

Too bad, but fair enough.

Sincerly,
