washed out colours

Mon May 25, 2020 2:11 am

Hi.

I have an issues with the recording part of the software.
Whenever I record a video of my game it looks a bit washed out.
It actually does that with numerous programmes that I have tried using so obviously something is wrong with the setting within my PC so I was wondering if anyone had the same problem in the past and knows how to fix it.

Thank you in advance.

I think i know. If i'm assuming correctly, ur videos have a sort of "grey-ish" shade to them which causes the washed out look.

Ur video card most likely is set to limited color depth (known as 16-235 or something along those lines). To fix this, set it to full range (0-255).

To do this on Nvidia cards, dig up Nvidia icon from the taskbar and right-click on it. Select Nvidia control panel and in the window, search the list on the left. Under video, look for something like adjust video color settings. From here, u should see an option that says something like how to change solors, choose Nvidia settings and u should be able to set the dynamic range.

Unfortunately i dunno if AMD video cards have any corresponding options.

I have an NVIDIA so it was exactly where you said it would be and yes it was on the limited range.
It definitely helped so thank you!
