Hi all,

I’ve been using Bandicam for recording gameplay, and I’m looking to fine-tune my settings for better performance and audio quality—especially when recording my voice along with in-game sound.

What settings do you all recommend for:

High FPS games (e.g., 60+ fps)?

Clean voice recording with minimal background noise?

Reducing lag or stutter during recording?

Would love to hear what’s been working best for you, especially if you’re doing YouTube or Twitch content. Bonus points if you're using external mics or filters!

Thanks in advance!

For high FPS games, set Bandicam to record at 60 fps with H.264 (NVIDIA or AMD hardware encoder if available) to keep performance smooth. For voice, use an external mic with a pop filter and enable noise suppression either in Bandicam or through software like OBS or RTX Voice. To reduce lag, lower recording resolution if needed and save to a fast SSD. Fine-tuning audio levels separately also helps keep game and voice balanced.
