How to save individual settings for simultaneous recording

Tue Sep 20, 2022 3:54 am

We've tried to figure out how to save individual settings for simultaneous recording on two or more devices...but no luck so far.

We're trying to record with three camcorders and would like to have the output and hotkeys different for each camera for more control of the output and camera utilization.

We followed the instructions multiple times to set up each instance or iteration of Bandicam, and have separate executable links for each bandicam.exe, but each instance inherits the settings from the last modified General Output setting made.

Does anyone have a suggestion?

By the way, we found a workaround for using the same brand and model of camera, which the documentation said is not permitted.

WORKAROUND: Before opening any of the multiple Bandicam apps, start the first camera for the particular Bandicam, and pick the device to be used for that iteration of Bandicam. Once that is done, go on to the next camera...turn it on...then start the next iteration of Bandicam. Continue the same process for any other additional Bandicam interactions that you need.

The unfortunate this is that all of our three cameras inherit the same hotkeys for remotely controlling the cameras, and we have to go into each iteration to reset the file names and sequencing in order to be able to determine which video file belongs to which camera and in what order it was shot. Otherwise works fine.
