Bandicam not recording (no running of recording time or show memory usage)

As per subject mentioned.

Attached image to show the record button is pressed but no recording is running but there is a video file being created and the video file cannot be opened as there is no data in the video file.

problem resolved by going to "General" ---> under options go to "Advanced"---> bottom left corner "reset". Once settings reset, it worked.
