Recording software...any issues lately with BandiCam?

I've been using BC pretty religiously since the beginning of my career, but I made the mistake of upgrading to the newest version recently. And now the issue I'm having is that I'll be recording a game, and for some games during a load screen, or sometimes even out of nowhere mid-gameplay, BC just....stops. It drops out. Stops recording, and the FPS ticker in the corner vanishes. I even had one instance when recording the new indie game, Betrayer, where it would drop out, but I would still have the red recording indicator, so I had no clue that it had dropped out!

Everyone keeps saying DXTory, but god that seems like a pain in the ass to use. Bandi has always been smooth, simple, and easy. Fraps level easy, but without the 50GB video files, and BandiCam lets me put my own watermark on my videos; AFAIK, Fraps will not.

Anyone had this issue with BandiCam? Anyone have any suggestions?
