[DirectX/OpenGL window] mode offers a better quality recording than the [Rectangle on a screen] mode; If possible, it is better to use [DirectX/OpenGL window] mode.

Record through the 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode

This 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode can record the streaming videos that run on DirectX (Or OpenGL), such as various 2D/3D games (World of Warcraft, Minecraft, RuneScape, Aion, StarCraft 2, Maplestory, Guild Wars 2...), internet TV streaming videos, iTunes, Windows Media Player, HDTV receiving card.




Recording process of DirectX/OpenGL window mode

1. Choose 'DirectX/OpenGL window'

When Bandicam is running, the 'DirectX/OpenGL window' mode needs to be selected from the Target button-down menu. DirectX/OpenGL recording

2. Start the recording target

When the recording target is executed, there will be a green-colored number (FPS) appearing on the upper left side.

3. Press the 'Record' button

Press the 'Record' button (Hotkey F12) to start the recording. Press the Record button

4. Check the 'FPS' color

As the record progresses, the green-colored number will change to red FPS color - green to red

5. Press the 'Stop' button

Press the 'Stop' button (■) (Hotkey F12) to complete the recording. Press the Stop button

6. Click the 'Open' button

Click the 'Open' button to check the captured videos/images. Open the output folder
